As a Certified Yoga Teacher, I enjoy teaching my students the benefits of yoga and adapting my classes to make them accessible for everyone. I help my students get the most from their practice by focusing on safety and alignment as well as drawing awareness to the mind/body connection. I encourage my students to do what feels right for them in their bodies so they fully enjoy their experience. I am Certified in Hatha/Vinyasa Flow, Prenatal Yoga and Chair Yoga. My classes will help you stretch and strengthen your body as well as find physical and emotional balance.
Hatha/Vinyasa: A unique blend of styles that will inspire your body and your mind. We will flow through a sequence that synchronies breath with movement. Blending alignment, technique, breath, energy and body…this practice offers something for everyone. Modifications and variations are always taught and encouraged. Open to all levels of practice.
Prenatal: A safe yoga flow for all levels of experience and for any trimester of your pregnancy. This practice focuses on strengthening, stretching, breathing techniques and relaxation.
Chair: Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga is an ideal exercise for those suffering from conditions, such as chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoporosis, and multiple sclerosis. It may also benefit people over a certain age who have trouble moving through the up and down motions of traditional yoga. Chair yoga allows them to stay stabilized, helps them stretch and strengthen their body as well as improve their mental state.
Privates:
As much as I love teaching group classes, there is something very special about working with a student one-on-one. Private yoga classes are an investment for your personal growth and health. They are a great way to start your yoga practice with a more solid footing before you join group yoga sessions. They can also provide intensive training and exclusive attention.
